to brace or not to brace?

went to the orthodontist today. i'm in quite a dilemma now. mehhh. after poking and prodding around my mouth she says i have minimal need for braces. why?

1. my left side of my teeth are perfect. textbook. or so she says. weeeeeee.
2. i have nice jawline. no need for adjustment or anything.
3. and a very nice side profile. hehehe.

what an ego boost. =D

anyway, it's just that the right side sorta moved and that's why i have that tooth jutting out a little. ARGH. i don't know. i do want perfect teeth, but i have to go through all the trouble just for one tooth which has rotated the wrong way.

i'll have to extract ONE tooth and wear braces for a year and a half. that's a bloody long time yo. and i have a 5mm overbite. so i have to wear this plate thing and separators for 6 months first. eeyerrr. not to mention that the plate thing would be severely uncomfortable and that the braces would hurt alot AND that there would be no guarantee that my teeth would stay perfect because apparently my wisdom teeth have not grown yet. although it seems like they have.

i so need an opinion.
